A Goodwin Granger Special 9-foot, 5 ounce 3/2 Model 9050 bamboo fly rod. Vintage 1930-1932 made by Goodwin Granger in Denver, Colorado. Restored with new wraps and varnish by Michael Sinclair, author of the book “Goodwin Granger, The Rod Man from Denver” and the definitive Granger historian. The rod casts a DT5F Cortland 'Peach' fly line superbly or will handle a variety of WF6F lines such as the Wulff Triangle Taper. A perfect Delaware River rod with the grace and control of bamboo. The rod comes in a new high quality rod bag and a new brass capped aluminum rod tube.
Condition is very good, restored. All sections are full length with good ferrule fit. One tip has a slight right hand casting sweep which does not affect performance. Offered at $995.00
